What we collect

When you sign Marley's Petition, we collect your name, email, city, state, and optionally your ZIP code, how you identify (Parent, Healthcare worker, etc.), and a personal message. We also record the date you signed, your IP address, and your browser's user agent to help prevent spam and duplicate signatures.

How we use it

• To deliver Marley's Petition to elected officials and policymakers.
• To send you occasional updates about the movement — no more than once a month.
• If you opted in, to contact you about future advocacy opportunities such as legislative outreach and events.
• To share aggregate statistics (total signatures, geographic distribution) with media, partners, and legislators. Aggregate data never identifies individuals.

What we don't do

• We never sell your information.
• We never share individual personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We never email you more than once a month under normal circumstances.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time and we will remove your contact information from our advocacy list. Your signature on the petition itself remains as a permanent record of public support, but we will stop contacting you.
